Laurence Osborn (b. 1989) is currently Junior Fellow in Composition at the Guildhall School of Music, and Composer-in-Association with Nonclassical. His work is particularly focussed around opera, theatre, and other collaborative media. Laurence Osborn has written for CHROMA, The English National Ballet, The London Symphony Orchestra, Mahogany Opera Group, and Tête à Tête Opera Company among others. His work has been programmed at venues such as The Royal Opera House, LSO St Luke’s, and Milton Court, as well as in Denmark, France, Hungary and Switzerland. His music has also been broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and Resonance FM. Current projects include a solo commission from accordionist Bartosz Glowacki, and an opera currently in development through Mahogany Opera Group’s Various Stages.
